The Fountain of Cleansing

The Essentials of Life: Breathe, Hydrate, Nourish

At the heart of our existence lies a simple yet profound truth: before food or water, it is the act of breathing that sustains us. Oxygen, the life-giving force, fuels every organ and cell in our bodies, supporting the temple we call home.

Water is just as essential, forming a significant part of our body’s makeup. It plays a critical role in nearly every process that keeps us alive and thriving. Staying hydrated helps maintain balance, energy, and overall well-being.

When it comes to food, nutrient-rich choices are key. These foods are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote healing, strengthen the immune system, and support disease prevention.

By embracing a mindful connection with the foods you eat, you honor nature’s wisdom and unlock the potential for a vibrant, healthy life.

"Let Food Be Thy Medicine & Medicine Be Thy Food"

Using food as medicine involves adopting a mindful and intentional approach to your diet in order to promote health and well-being.

Here's how you can start:

  1. Educate Yourself: Learn about the nutritional value of different foods and their potential health benefits. Understand how nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants contribute to your body's functioning.
  2. Choose Nutrient-Rich Foods: Opt for whole, minimally processed foods that are rich in nutrients. Incorporate a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats into your diet.
  3. Balanced Diet: Strive for a balanced and diverse diet that includes a wide range of nutrients. Different foods offer various health-promoting properties, so aim for variety.
  4. Mindful Eating: Pay attention to portion sizes and listen to your body's hunger and fullness cues. Eat slowly and savor the flavors to enhance digestion.
  5. Reduce Processed Foods: Minimize processed and sugary foods that offer little nutritional value and may contribute to health issues.
  6. Spices and Herbs: Experiment with using herbs and spices known for their potential health benefits, such as turmeric, ginger, garlic, and cinnamon.

Using food as medicine is a gradual and holistic approach. It's about making informed choices that support your health and align with your individual needs and goals. Start by making small, sustainable changes to your diet and gradually build a lifestyle that prioritizes nourishing your body through the foods you eat.

Holistic Health Is True Wealth

The human body is made up of 50-75% water, and forms the basis of blood, digestive juices, urine and perspiration, and is contained in lean muscle, fat and bones.  As the body can't store water, we need fresh supplies every day to make up for what we lose on the daily bases.  Staying hydrated and being mindful to drink "living" water is an important staple to living a holistic lifestyle.

Living water is unprocessed water sourced directly from nature, with all of its natural benefits intact:

* Spring water is living water because it is naturally filtered through rock which removes impurities while leaving behind beneficial minerals like magnesium, calcium and bicarbonate;

* Gel, or Structured water is identified by an extra hydrogen and oxygen atom, so the molecular structure is H302; Found in  fresh fruits and vegetables.

H20 is defined as an inorganic compound although it is the main constituent of Earth's hydrosphere and the fluids of all known living organisms.  Made up of two hydrogen (H) atoms and one oxygen (O) atom, water has no nutritional value but contributes immensely to the natural detoxification process of our bodily temple via the lymphatic system which flushes the body of toxins.

Having low oxygen levels leads to Hypoxia and hypoxemia -- both involve a loss of oxygen in either the blood or tissues of the body. Tissue can decay from lack of blood or lack of properly oxygenated blood.

The body's tissues need oxygen to function, and additional oxygen can help damaged tissue heal.

Oxygen at high pressure can enhance tissue function and fight infection by improving the ability of white blood cells to find and disable toxins of certain bacteria.  A process known as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can speed up the healing process and increase circulation and oxygenation, allowing the oxygen to build and encourage new blood vessel formation, as well as triggering collagen growth, which leads to healing.

The best way to reset your body and mind is through detoxing. Continue your research and study to discover what concepts and practices work for you. [More On Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: https://www.healthline.com/health/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy-benefits]  <3  Happy Healing !!!

Resources To Stay Hydrated

  1. Incorporate as many fruits and vegetables in your diet as you can. They also contain naturally occurring electrolytes, and their fiber helps the body absorb gel water. For this reason, a green juice or smoothie is actually more hydrating than a bottle of water.
  2. Add lime to water; the electrolytes help encourage the production of gel water.
  3. Toss a pinch of sea salt or rock salt (Himalayan pink salt works well) into your water bottle. The electrolytes help encourage the production of gel water.
  4. Drink and cook with bone broth, which is full of collagen (which is full of gel water).
  5. Add a teaspoon of crushed chia seeds to smoothies and other drinks. By crushing up the seeds, you create more surface area, and eventually more gel.
  6. Try cooking with coconut and ghee, which are both full of gel water and electrolytes.
